Even the action felt somewhat perfunctory, like a cheap sequel shot in a hurry by a second-rate film crew, with no sense of pride in its achievements. “Two more flash chases, an MMA fight in a public place, a time-lapse shootout, and that’s it, boys.” Mostly, it’s reminiscent of a low-budget 1980s European crime thriller, with a mismatched European cast and a script straight out of Babelfish, embellished in post-production to look vaguely modern. Unfortunately, it ends up looking like a poorly animated storyboard.
